On my screen, this photo looks completely washed out.

I downloaded this and did a quick correction to it and it looked pretty good. Not to worry, I trashed it.

It occurs to me that your photos may be looking different to you than to other computers. This can happen if you are using a non standard color space on your computer.

A quick and easy test of this is to look at you gallery on someone else's computer and see if your pictures look the same as on your computer.

If you are way off, ideally it is best to work in a standard space like "North American General Purpose 2" which uses sRGB (found in Photoshop > Edit > Color settings) and to calibrate your monitor.

If you use a special calibrated profile, you can use photoshop to convert to a standard space, and it should look the same to you after that, and hopefully to everyone else.

Some of my old work was a mess until I fixed the color spaces on them.
